Our Media Training Program will be presented by Ben Lewis from 9:00 - 11:30 AM. A Buffet Lunch will be served from approximately 11:30 - 12:30, with our luncheon speaker ending by 2:00PM. Please join us! Our luncheon speaker will be Gary Altman, who will discuss the new tax implications under the new tax law!

Gary Altman, Esq. is the Founder and Principal Attorney of the estate planning law firm, Altman & Associates, where he has been serving the Washington metropolitan area, practicing law since 1980 and estate planning since 1988.

As an industry leader, Gary has taught various estate planning courses to attorneys, accountants and financial planners. He is currently on the board of Hope Connections for Cancer Support. Gary has previously served as the President of the National Capital Area Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and the National Capital Chapter of the Society for Financial Service Professionals. In 2015, he was a member of Leadership Montgomery’s Core Program.

Gary earned his Master of Law in Taxation (LLM) Degree from Georgetown University Law School and his law degree (J.D.) from the New York University School of Law in New York City. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. He also became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 1986.

Gary resides in Potomac, MD with his wife Liz and their two Labrador retrievers. He enjoys spending his free time playing racket sports, reading, gardening, and restoring his pre-civil war historic home. Gary is a wine aficionado and enjoys BBQing and making homemade brick oven pizzas for friends and colleagues.
