Bonnie Kirchner CFP®, MST - Enhancing Your Ethical Intelligence
Bonnie experienced firsthand the devastation caused by an unethical former CFP® Practitioner, and wrote a book titled “Who Can You Trust With Your Money?” based on her experience. 

Bonnie will discusses the implications of ethics lapses and how they impact everyone. This session will cover the required 2017 learning objectives and qualifies for two hours of ethics CE credit.

 

Mark TibergienThe Enduring Advisory Firm

Mark is the CEO and Managing Director of Pershing Advisor Solutions, a leading custodian for RIAs and family offices. Mark has worked with public and private companies on matters related to business management, transition planning and strategy formulation since 1976. Including hundreds of independent RIAs, broker-dealers, investment managers, insurance companies and other financial services organizations.

Mark will be disusing the key components that a financial services business needs to ensure that your advisory firm lasts.

Amy Florian In-Office Skills for Advising Clients through Life’s Toughest Times

Amy is the CEO of Corgenius, a professional training organization focused on helping advisors and other professionals develop the skills needed to effectively walk others through the toughest times of their lives with compassion, respect and intelligence. The training she delivers helps advisors develop the abilities they need in order to serve clients in ways that others cannot, creating clients for life.  An acclaimed speaker, she is author of over 150 articles and the books “No Longer Awkward: Communicating with Clients through the Toughest Times of Life” and “A Friend Indeed: Help Someone You Love When They Grieve.”

Amy will be combining the best of neuroscience and psychology with a good dose of humor in her talk about the skills you need to build strong relationships with clients through all the losses and transitions of life.

 

Dr. Richard ClaridaGlobal Economic Update

Richard is PIMCO's global strategic advisor. He works closely with PIMCO’s Investment Committee to assess and analyze global monetary and fiscal policy trends. He has 19 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.

Richard will be speaking about the big picture issues and trends that all advisors need to be aware of in order to make strategic investment decisions

Stephanie is the Senior VP of Federal Government Relations for Fidelity Investments.   She is responsible for overseeing Fidelity’s advocacy before Congress and the Administration on public policies vital to the firm, its clients and customers.
