ALAN LEVENSON
Alan Levenson is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. As T. Rowe Price's chief economist, Alan's central role is to contribute to the formulation of investment strategy in the firm's Fixed Income Division. In this capacity, he develops outlooks for the U.S.economy, inflation, and Federal Reserve policy. The Economics Department supports investment, client support, and development activities throughout the firm and conveys its views in two publications, U.S. Economic Perspective and U.S. Economic Projections. Prior to joining T. Rowe Price in 1998, Alan was senior vice president and director of research at Aubrey G. Lanston & Co., Inc., in New York City. He received a B.A. in philosophy, with a minor concentration in economics, from Yale University and earned an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
