Emily Dupre, of MFS will share a very interesting financial planning-oriented presentation called “Milestone Marketing” which includes information on “Uncovering Opportunities with the Checklist”, a great tool for helping clients to identify what is keeping them up at night which can lead to a discussion of all the services that you offer to help. As clients have greater access to financial information, we lose the information advantage when it comes to investments.  However as financial planners, there are a number of non-investment related topics that clients will need us for. This program will focus on Mastering Social Security: Benefits for Spouses, Survivors and Divorcees, as well as Key Age and Life Based Opportunities to incorporate into your client and prospect discussions to maintain a valuable and trusted relationship with your clients.

In addition, American Funds Speaker Paul Cieslik also will present on October 12 with a presentation called “Advice Revolution”. This presentation will highlight the changing landscape of client interactions, encouraging you to set, discover and communicate goals, while maintaining client conversations to confirm client goals which will align with investment strategy, while developing and implementing improved investment outcomes. An advice revolution is underway, and clients must be influenced on investment behavior which will match their investment track. Client Strategies can help elevate client relationships while developing processes designed to enhance the planner’s value, expertise, connection and knowledge to clients, as well as align client goals with investment strategy in this changing industry.
