Career Day is a professional development event, intended to provide educational content, while also connecting  hiring firms with financial professionals seeking employment. We will engage with participants by delivering speakers focused on career development issues, as well as help candidates to find employment opportunities by scheduling interviews with hiring firms.

Note: You will need to log in to register. If you’re not a member, click on the link to create a non-member account.

If you are a student or a job changer seeking a part-time job, a full-time job or an internship, please register on line here by NOON, January 24, 2018. It will be helpful if Employers seeking to hire applicants register on line here by  January 24, 2018, as well, so that interviews can be assigned.

Applicant's Resume and cover letter must be sent to fpancacareerday@gmail.com by NOON, Friday, January 26th  with information regarding the position they are looking for (summer internship, full time position or part time position). Resumes not received by this day and time may not be included in Employer packages for pre-set Interviews.

Disclaimer to Interviewees** In years past we have had firms request the full list of interviewing candidates’ resumés. In the past we did not feel comfortable giving out personal information without having consent from all candidates, so we declined their requests. By submitting your registration for this event you hereby give your consent for the Financial Planning Association of the National Capital Area the discretion to distribute your resumé as they see fit to any firm who requests it, be it before, during, or after the event date. This is viewed as only in your benefit, as the point of a Career Day event is to get your name and resumé in front of as many potential employers as possible.

Pricing: Student Applicants: $40.00 for the entire day; Professional Applicants: $40.00 for the entire day. Luncheon Attendees: Members: $50.00 Luncheon only; Non-Members: $75.00 Luncheon only.
